Master Bedroom Update- Hotel Vibes, Minimal and Modern

Welcome! Our Master Bedroom was the first place we started in our new house and somehow it is one of the last rooms to finish. Anyone relate?! For those that are new here… We moved out of our townhome that we lived in for 9 years, ditched every last piece of furniture and old pots and pans and moved into our beautiful new home. We left with just mattresses from the townhome and even replaced those shortly after moving in. Our master is yet to be finished, but what is a finished room without the updates?

I’ve always loved those Hotel rooms that you just want to take home with you. You know the one’s with the moody fabrics, lush curtains, unique decor, clean lines, brass fixtures and modern details. There’s something so beautiful about the minimal pieces. Less is really MORE!

I hope you enjoy the tour of our master so far and everything is sourced and can be found throughout the post. Everything is linked easy for you through my @liketoknow.it page https://www.liketoknow.it/jordanandjoelle.co

Lush Curtains

These lush curtains give me all the hotel feels. They are a platinum velvet and the goal is to have enough panels too drape so we can remove the blinds. The combination of these drapes and the Gold rod is what inspired the space. They are thin, soft to the touch, and still block out the sun even though they are not blackout curtains.

Bedding Detail

This Bedding was and is still a dream to me. I love all white bedding. It’s clean and crisp and a shower before bed is a must before you lay your head down on this bedding. It’s so soft and has held up its durability. The bedding and pillows are from West Elm.

Side Table Details

MY bargain was all in the side tables. These are from Joss and Maine and are beautiful. I love mixing metals and they did not disappoint. They were very reasonable and easy to assemble. Layering them is so fun and beautiful to look at when the sun is shining in the morning. They are also pretty wide which is what I loved. They are labeled end tables not side tables, but that’s what I love about design, it’s where you see fit. These gorgeous lamps are also from west elm as well as all the decor.

The Bed

My Absolute FAVORITE purchase. This bed has a velvet fabric, it’s the color: distressed mineral gray, from West Elm as well as the bench. It is the Andes collection and it did and does not disappoint. I wanted a bed that had a soft headboard to sit up and read or watch a show. It is stunning and so comfortable. I fell in love with its clean lines and thick padding.

There is still more to add. But I love where we are going with this space. Thank you for coming on the tour. Leave a comment below. I’d love to know what you loved about the space or what pieces you love in a Master/ Your Master Bedroom.
